Bio

Kenneth B. Danielsen is a Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Danielsen, Lawlor, Everett, Isaacs & Dischley, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex general liability, maritime law, product liability, and construction accidents (New York Labor Law §§ 240 and 241[6]).

Ken routinely handles cases involving significant exposure in multiple jurisdictions, including mass-casualty events, catastrophic injury claims, and highly publicized incidents. Ken is frequently retained by excess insurers to oversee the defense of matters involving substantial damages exposure and focuses primarily on serious personal injury and wrongful death litigation.

Ken also devotes a significant portion of his practice to trial work and courtroom advocacy in high-exposure litigation. He is frequently retained to assume responsibility for cases approaching trial, particularly in difficult venues or matters involving substantial damages exposure. Ken has particular experience trying complex damages cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. In addition to trying cases, Ken regularly handles significant appellate matters for the firm, including appeals involving complex liability, evidentiary, and damages-related issues.

Drawing on extensive courtroom and appellate experience, Ken works closely with clients, insurers, experts, and trial teams to develop focused litigation strategies designed to position cases for successful resolution through verdict, dispositive motion practice, or strategic settlement. Ken also has experience overseeing investigations involving suspected fraud and questionable claims activity.

Ken is admitted to practice in New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuits. He is also a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.

Ken received his B.A. from New York University in 2005, where he was a member of the school’s national runner-up ice hockey team. He earned his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law in 2008, where he received several academic honors and appointments.

Outside of his legal practice, Ken dedicates significant time to youth hockey and actively coaches both boys and girls travel ice hockey teams.
