Mordy concentrates his practice on complex general liability litigation, including premises liability, product liability, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, construction defect claims, and maritime matters. Drawing on extensive professional experience prior to entering the legal field, Mordy brings a practical and client-focused approach to litigation strategy and case management.
Mordy earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he served as Assistant Managing Editor of the Emory Journal of Law and Religion. His student comment addressing discrimination claims in communal living settings was selected for publication. Mordy maintains an active motion practice and regularly applies his strong research and writing background in handling complex litigation matters.
Following law school, Mordy pursued advanced legal training through Tulane University Law School’s Admiralty and Maritime Law L.L.M. program, where his studies focused on catastrophic personal injury litigation, maritime and transportation matters, insurance coverage issues, environmental regulations, and federal court practice.
Mordy is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Outside of his legal practice, Mordy enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and cooking.
